The BC coating prepared by the former is uniform and dense, but the process is complicated and expensive; the latter is simple in operation and low in cost, but it is difficult to obtain a dense coating. Therefore, many foreign scientists are currently working on the preparation of BC coatings with low porosity by plasma spraying.
